Juan Solito is an ecolodge on the Hato La Aurora reserve. It is reached with a flight to Yopal, then a four and a half hour drive mostly on unsurfaced roads to the lodge. The isolated location makes for an adventurous experience and good chances to see wildlife.
What makes this accommodation so special?
Given the remote location, the lodge offers some great wildlife viewing especially of birds, but also caiman, wild pigs, deer, capybara, anteaters and even jaguar. You'll get a feel for the way of life in los llanos too, with its distinctive traditional music, food and cowboys.

Description of property/facilities
Juan Solito is part of Hato la Aurora a reserve that covers 16,000 hectares. Activities available from the lodge include boat trips, 4 x 4 trips, horse rides and walks- all giving chances to view the wildlife. Activities vary according to season.
