What is special about Pousada Porto Imperial?
This beautifully restored mansion dates back to 1804, when it served as a riverside trading post. Later, it became Paraty's first opera house. Many of the original features of this 200 year-old building have been preserved.
There are 48 rooms of various sizes. All have free wifi, air conditioning, TV, minibar, phone, hair dryer and safe. There are standard, superior, junior and master suites, the main difference between the rooms being size. Junior suites are well suited to families.
There is a pool-side bar, restaurant, library and games rooms.
